Throughout her 20+ years long career, she has released more than 20 albums and won several Swedish and Norwegian Grammy Awards, making the Norwegian singer a well established star in the Nordic music scene as well as in bigger parts of Europe and the US. Ever since her debut album “Spending Time With Morgan” back in 2003, Ane Brun has been working independently and made sure to keep control of her own music – something we’re very proud to now be able to assist her with on YouTube.
Over the years, Ane Brun has developed her own sound and flirted with different genres, mostly spanning from her roots in acoustic folk to pop and alternative. Her playfulness has resulted in original hits like “Koop Island Blues” (with Koop), the platinum rewarded album “It All Starts With One”, iconic covers of Beyoncé’s “Halo” and Alphaville’s “Big in Japan”, and collaborations with other stars like Benny Andersson, José Gonzalez, Peter Gabriel and Aurora. With the great creativity that Ane Brun possesses, we will never know what music is coming next and that’s what we love about her the most.
